With over 20 years of experience in matrimonial law, Susan Yellen's background in the social sciences enables her to assist her clients in the often emotionally charged divorce and custody situations. Ms. Yellen's commitment to educating her clients about the legal process assists her clients as they navigate their matters.
Actively involved in the legal community, Ms Yellen is a director on the board of the Rockland County Women's Bar Association and she is also a member of the Domestic Violence Committee for the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York. She participates as a lecturer and author of articles for New York State Bar Association sponsored Continuing Legal Education programs to keep her colleagues up to date on matrimonial and family law.
Ms. Yellen is a member of the Rockland Westchester Collaborative Attorneys, and she also serves as treasurer of the group. While she will actively engage in negotiations in order to resolve cases, she is a zealous advocate for her client when court intervention is warranted.
